You walk in like a queen You look around and smile You think every pair of eyes Has been following you all the while You fix your hair You check your pose You wait for someone to notice But nobody even knows You really believe Everyone is watching you don't you? You think they love you You think they care You think they're whispering Because you're standing there Darling no They're just living their lives Everyone is watching you? Really? Who told you that? Nobody's looking Nobody's waiting Nobody cares where you're at You think you're the star You think you're the queen But you're the only one Who sees that scene Everyone is watching you don't you? That's adorable You walk a little slower Just in case they turn around You smile like you're famous You own the whole town You think that little glance Means somebody wants you You think every little whisper Must be about you Maybe they're talking about the weather Maybe they're talking about lunch Maybe They're not talking about you at all Nobody is jealous Nobody is impressed Nobody is waiting For your next little entrance You can stop posing now Everyone is watching you? Seriously? Look around They're busy They're laughing They're talking They're looking somewhere else You think you're unforgettable You think you're so desired But darling You're not even the reason They turned around You don't need to pretend You don't need the attitude You don't need that little smile Like you've already won Because nobody is competing with you Nobody is trying to beat you You're having a competition All by yourself Everyone is watching you? Oh I understand You need the whole room To be your audience You need every stranger To admire your face You need every little silence To be about you That's quite a fantasy Keep believing it It's clearly making you happy You really believe Everyone is watching you don't you? How special
